A quote that inspires you
Those times when you get up early and you work hard; those times when you stay up late and you work hard; those times when you don’t feel like working, you’re too tired, you don’t want to push yourself, but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream. – Kobe Bryant
An interesting fact that is not known about you
My love for molecular biology and neuroscience began in third grade, when I took a dissection course at the University of Ottawa. Since then, I have become involved in STEM through reading up on the latest research papers, establishing a STEM education non-profit, and conducting molecular biology research.
What are your future aspirations or dreams?
I plan on conducting research that integrates deep learning, hardware engineering, and molecular neuroscience to pioneer new treatments for neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. My hope is to create a startup that enables widespread access to these innovations and therapeutics in order to improve the lives of people across the globe.
