I am an avid hiker and explorer. Although this has allowed me to appreciate the wonders of nature, it has also made me recognize the fragility of our environment. My hiking adventures have therefore played an important role in solidifying my interest in the intersection between engineering and sustainable development!

What are your future aspirations or dreams?

I have always shown great interest in marketing strategies and public speaking. I also love putting together a sales pitch and negotiating a deal. That is exactly why I plan on marrying science and entrepreneurship in my career. My goal is to upscale laboratory advances in clean technology and make them accessible for enterprises to use worldwide. Whether it be carbon capture technologies to reduce emissions from power plants, or advances in nanotechnology to reduce waste caused by consumer goods, I am certain that my efforts will contribute to building a greener future for our planet!
